Ready-to-Eat (RTE), or convenience food, is now dotting the shelves of urban stores and supermarkets. RTE dishes are pre-cooked and then packaged in foils. All that one has to do is dip the pouch in hot water for 3-5 minutes, cut open and serve or devour! Even better, just microwave the pouches and pour out the delicacies. |
